On the February 8th 2012, other raiding parties were simultaneously busy breaking into the home of another Christian called Korosh Partovi, who is said to be a member of the same House Church Group.
FCNN – Shiraz – IRI - On the night of February 8th 2012, some 20 worshipping Christian were gathered at the home of a Christian family in Shiraz, some 700 Km south of Tehran; when it was raided by hooded agents of the Islamic Regime’s Ministry of State Security.
At the same time another Christian’s family home was also attacked and head of the household was taken away.
According to FCNN (Farsi Christian News Network) from Shiraz; in an attempt to deceive and mislead the public; official news agencies of the Islamic Regime, published conflicting accounts of the raids and inflammatory commentaries about Christianity and Christian activities in the Islamic Republic.
Christian victims have related a vastly different account of the raids and provided a complete list of the detainees.
They report that at about 8 PM a number of hooded agents of the Islamic Republic raided the family home of Mr. Homayoon Shokoohi-Gholamzadeh and his wife Mrs. Fariba Nazemian.
The hooded men introduced themselves as local agents of the Islamic Ministry of State Security, and arrested the couple, their 18 years old son,Nima Shokoohi, and four other persons present at the prayers meeting.
Mr. And Mrs. Shokoohi’s home is used as a House Church and Christian services were often held there.
On the fateful night, a large group of some 20 people had gathered there for Christian prayers and Church services when hooded agents forced entry, put all under arrest and demanded they fill in a detailed security questionnaire form. Everyone had to submit their telephone, mobile numbers, as well as their exact addresses and required to sign the forms. They were then told to be ready to be called for detailed questioning at a later date.
Mr. Shokoohi’s house was thoroughly searched, and all books, photographs, CD’s, Laptop and desk computers, as well as anything that could remotely have been considered Christian, was taken away “to be used as evidence “.
Seven people, named below, were then handcuffed and transported to interrogation centre fearfully known in Shiraz as “Pelak 100”:
Mrs. Fariba Nazemian (Mother)
Mr. Homayoon Shokoohi-Gholamzadeh (Father)
Mr. Nima Shokoohi (Son)
Mrs. Sharifeh Dokh.
Mr. Vahid Hakkani.
Mr. Masood Golrooyan
Mr. Mojtab Seyed Ala’din Hossein
They have since been charged with “acts harmful to the Islamic Regime”.
After their transfer and imprisonment; their homes and businesses were broken in; computers, Bibles, other books and CD’s as well as any Cross or Christian images found were gathered and taken away.
Other raiding parties were simultaneously busy breaking into the home of another Christian called Korosh Partovi, who is said to be a member of the same House Church Group.
Mr. Partovi was arrested and his house ransacked by Islamic Brothers; a favourite Islamic Media euphemism for Islamic Enforcers operating along the same lines as those of criminal gangs in the west. Mr. Partovi has not been seen sincenight of February 8th 2012.
Families of the arrested Christians have not been allowed to see them, nor have they been given any news of their loved ones.
Concern is mounting for Mrs. Sharifeh Dokh and Mrs. Fariba Shokoohi, nee Nazzemian , who are both suffering from heart conditions in need of close medical care. Mr. Nima Shokoohi suffers from migraine and is need of medication.
Previously in April 2009, Mr. Homayoon Shokoohi and his wife Fariba Nazemian had once before been arrested at Shiraz Airport, as they were about to board their flight to Dubai for an international Christian Symposium.
Around the same time in 2009, Mr. Mojtaba Hossein, along with 10 other Christians and a number of Baha’is, had also been arrested and jailed.
In addition to above named detainees in Shiraz; across the Islamic Republic in recent months; large numbers of Christians have also been imprisoned, their homes ransacked, and personal belongings confiscated.
