London 7/7 Bombing
by, Mudar Zahran | Gatestone Institute
If you look at the London Tube Bombing of 7/7; the Madrid Train Bombing; two attacks on the World Trade Center; the murders of Lee Rigby, Theo Van Gogh, Daniel Pearl, Nick Berg, Ilan Halimi, and countless other attack and threats, how can we honestly expect people not to be “Islamophobic”? It would appear we have no one to blame but ourselves.
If we Muslims are actually opposed to these Islamist hate preachers, why are we failing to take a unanimous public stance against them, to disown and isolate them from our community?
After the murder of British soldier Lee Rigby by Islamic extremists in London last May, The Guardian reported a surge in the number of anti-Muslim offenses.
Also, last May, a poll by the British research firm, YouGov, showed that nearly two-thirds of Britons believe there will be a “clash of civilizations” between British Muslims and white Britons, and 34% believe that Muslims pose a serious threat to democracy.
As a Muslim living in the UK, I wonder, who is to blame for the increase in anti-Muslim feelings in the U.K.? Or is the problem “Islamophobia”?
If one dispassionately examines facts, it seems possible that if “Islamophobia” exists in the U.K., then perhaps we Muslims are to blame for it.
For a start, let us look at the murder of soldier Lee Rigby, who was butchered in Woolwich, near his army barracks, on May 22, 2013 by two British Muslim converts.
The murderers, Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale were both 29 and born to Christian families. Both are reported by the Daily Mail to have been inspired by the British Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary. Therefore, can we Muslims blame the British public if they fear for their young men and women, and would prefer them not to associate with us and possibly become Islamically radicalized?
Anjem Choudary — the Muslim cleric who “inspired” Rigby’s murderers — has a lavish history of inciting Islamic fundamentalism and hatred against Britain. He refused, for example, to condemn the July 7, 2005 London bombings and even spoke favorably about the “black flag of Sharia flying over Downing Street [the Prime Ministers’ office] by 2020”.
In an interview on April 11, 2013 Choudhry said, “As Muslims, we reject democracy, we reject secularism, and freedom, and human rights. We reject all of the things that you espouse as being ideals … There is nothing called a republic in Islam. When we talk about the sharia, we are talking about only the sharia. We are talking about rejecting the U.N., the IMF, and the World Bank.”
So, why then, if Choudhry and other Islamist fundamentalists so oppose the British values of democracy and human rights, do they choose to stay in the UK? No one is keeping them here against their will.
Also, if we Muslims in the UK disagree with what Choudhry and his like-minded associates are saying, why do we never speak out against it? If we are actually opposed these Islamist hate preachers, why are we failing to take a unanimous public stance to disown and isolate them from our community?
The non-Muslims must be also asking themselves the same questions, and logically assuming from our silence that we agree.
The Islamists’ damage to the British society does not stop with the hatred they spread, but also extends to exporting terrorism to the rest of the world.
For example, Abu Hamzah Al-Masri, who is now facing terrorism charges in the US after being extradited from the UK, turned a local London mosque into a recruiting ground for Islamic radicals. In the 1990s, Abu Hamzah’s followers included the 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui and failed “shoe bomber” Richard Reid, both now serving life sentences in the U.S.
As a sidebar, on May 28, 2009, three of Abu Hamza’s sons and his stepson were sentenced to imprisonment by a British court for a two-year fraud involving stolen cars. And in July 2010, another of Abu Hamza’s sons wassentenced to twelve months prison after pleading guilty to one count of violent disorder at anti-Israel protests in January 2009. In 2012, another one of Abu Hamza’s sons was convicted of armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm with intent to commit an offense.
A phobia, by definition, is an irrational fear: a fear of something that is not real — such as being afraid that there are snakes in the next room. But if you look at the London tube bombings; the death threats against a British schoolteacher whose kindergartners innocently decided to name a teddy bear Mohammed; the recent the murder and attempted decapitation of Lee Rigby, not to mention events abroad, such as two attacks on the World Trade Center, the Madrid train bombings the attempted attacks by the Underwear Bomber, the Shoe Bomber, the Times Square Bomber; the murders of Theo van Gogh, Ilan Halimi, Nick Berg, Daniel Pearl; Jews in Toulouse, Mumbai and Buenos Aires; the victims of US Army Major Nidal Hassan; assaults on Kurt Westergaard, and Lars Hedegaard, and the threats to Salman Rushdie, Geert Wilders and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, among other episodes — these events are all too real, so how can we Muslims in the UK honestly expect people not to be “Islamophobic”? How can we blame the British society for being ill-disposed when some of their Islamic “leaders” are breeding both terrorists and criminals?
There also seems to be a pattern now of Muslim men “grooming” white underage non-Muslim girls into sex rings. For example: in May 2012, nine Muslim men were convicted of being part of a child sexual exploitation ring involving vulnerable white girls. Eight of the men were of British Pakistani origin and one was an Afghan; all Muslims.
One of the victims told the court “of being raped by two men while she was “so drunk she was vomiting over the side of the bed. She later cried herself to sleep.”
Further, in June 2013, seven Muslim men from Oxford were found guilty of grooming underage white girls, aged between 11 and 15, into a sadistic sex ring.
Commenting on the case, Dr. Taj Hargey, the Muslim cleric of the Oxford Islamic Congregation, said, “[R]ace and religion were linked to the recent spate of grooming rings in which Muslim men have targeted under-age white girls.” He added that, “Imams promote grooming rings’ by encouraging followers to think white women deserve to be ‘punished'”.
Dr. Hargey also noted that, “all the men [involved in the Oxford sex ring] — though of different nationalities — were Muslim and they deliberately targeted vulnerable white girls, whom they appeared to regard as easy meat.” Dr. Hargey added that pretending this is not a problem of the Islamic community is “ideological denial.”
So, how can we Muslims blame the British public for fearing for their underage girls when Muslim men keep getting arrested and convicted for grooming white girls into sex rings?
As a Muslim living in the UK, I have come to believe that we Muslims are the main source of “Islamophobia” — by the evil and disturbing acts of some Muslims, and above all by the silence of the majority regarding those acts.
It would appear we have no one to blame but ourselves.

A teenage girl was groomed and raped by up to 30
Asian Muslim men – including a father and his schoolboy son – during an horrific sex attack lasting six hours, an inquiry heard.
Campaigner Shaista Gohir MBE detailed abuse of the young vulnerable Asian girl in a shocking report highlighting how rife grooming was within ethnic communities.
She claimed that sexual exploitation and grooming of young Asian girls by Muslim men of the same ethnic origins was happening under the noses of authorities – with community leaders, schools and families are all too ready to dismiss the attacks or even cover them up.
Muslim and women’s rights activist Ms Gohir used the harrowing Birmingham case, involving a teenage girl who was allegedly raped by between 20 to 30 men, to call on authorities to do more to tackle the issue.
The attack was said to have taken place over six hours and included a father and son, who was in school uniform, and taxi drivers who turned up in groups.
The report, presented to Birmingham City Council, followed interviews with 35 victims, as well as several sex attackers from Muslim communities throughout the UK.
Ms Gohir also challenged the popular view that grooming and exploitation, as in high-profile cases in Rochdale and Oxford, was mainly carried out by gangs of
Asian Muslim men abusing white girls.
‘People tell me they have heard about Rochdale and Oxford and see it as something which happens elsewhere to other people, but it is happening in Birmingham, it’s happening everywhere,’ she said.
This warning came in the same week as a child sex gang was jailed for abusing young girls.
Judge John Bevan QC said the four Roma men and boys and an Iraqi Kurd had ignored the responsibilities of living in this country as he sentenced them for raping and sexually assaulting five girls aged as young as 12.
Hassan Abdulla, left, and Jan Kandrac were part of a gang jailed for a total of 54 years at the Old Bailey in London for raping and sexually abusing girls as young as 12 in Peterborough
Gang members Renato Balog and Zdeno Mirga were jailed in the same week as a campaigner highlighted the shocking scale of abuse of children in ethnic communities across Britain
Four of the gang members were from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Two of the victims were Czech and Slovak, while the other three are English.
Last year, seven Oxford men, mostly of Pakistani heritage, were convicted at the Old Bailey of running a paedophile sex ring.
That trial had followed another, almost exactly 12 months earlier, concerning nine
Asian Muslim men based in Rochdale.
Ms Gohir said girls are more likely to be targeted by people of the same ethnic and cultural background.
They may also be particularly vulnerable to abuse as they can be blackmailed into keeping quiet because of the risk of ‘bringing shame’ on a community, she added.
When abuse is revealed some families are more likely to send the daughter abroad or hastily arrange a wedding to get rid of the problem rather than face it, the report claims.
‘The biggest barrier that we need to address is the shame and honour card,’ Ms Gohir said.
‘They would rather protect the honour of the family and community than report an offender and protect other girls, as well as get the victim the counselling and help they need.’
She also added attitudes of young boys and men needed to change as often they did not see what they did as rape, and had no awareness of the impact of their actions on women.
Members of the council enquiry are considering new measures including raising the issue with parents or teenagers through secondary schools and encouraging greater use of relationship education.
Labour councillor Waseem Zaffer said: ‘I have seen this presentation three times and each time I get angrier and angrier. There are a number of issues in the south Asian community which are swept under the carpet and this is one of them.’
Inquiry chairwoman Cllr Anita Ward added: ‘When we are dealing with child sexual exploitation we need to recognise that it is not only Asian men grooming white girls. The victims do not come from any one particular culture or community, and neither do the perpetrators.
The inquiry will take further evidence in March before compiling a report for the city council.
OFFICIALS MUST STOP ‘TIP-TOEING AROUND RACE IN SEX-GANGS’
MPs said public officials must stop ‘tip-toeing’ around race when tackling child sex gangs and claimed that there is a trend of
Asian Muslim gangs targeting youngsters.
A dangerous trend of Pakistani men grooming young white girls does exist, according to a Commons home affairs committee report in June 2013.
Police, prosecutors and social workers must be able to raise the issue without fear of being accused of racism, the committee said.
But it warned against stereotyping offenders because there is no straight forward link between race and child sexual exploitation.
In shocking conclusions to a year-long inquiry, MPs said there were still areas where victims were being failed by the authorities.
Rochdale and Rotherham councils were accused of being ‘inexcusably slow’ to realise sex abuse was taking place on their doorstep.
And they said both councils had a ‘woeful lack of professional curiosity’ and were responsible for the ‘appalling consequences of their indifference to the suffering of vulnerable children’.

Two police officers were injured and four people arrested when violence broke out between English Defence League marchers and counter-demonstrators today.
Bottles and railings were hurled and at least one smoke bomb was set off as the anti-Islamic group marched through the centre of Slough, Berkshire, where the fascists were waiting.
Officers were forced to don riot gear and let dogs loose in an effort to quell the violence, which resulted in four people being held for public order offences.
One police officer suffered facial injuries and another had an injury to his leg.
The EDL’s march through Slough was in protest against plans for an all-girls Muslim faith school in the city and a Muslim community centre in Langley.
It was met by counter-demonstrations led by the Slough Trades Union Council and the Fascist Network, who accuse the EDL of fascist tendencies.
Authorities estimate that up to 600 people took park in the opposing demonstrations today.
The march descended into violence as EDL supporters entered Slough’s High Street, where street fighting broke out with both police and antifascists.
Authorities estimate that up to 600 people took park in the opposing demonstrations, which were policed by officers from across Thames Valley Police, Hampshire Constabulary and the British Transport Police.
EDL supporters wave Welsh and Israeli flags and shout slogans during their demonstration, which was in protest against a new Muslim school and an Islamic community centre which are planned for the area.
A police spokesman said: ‘The two opposing demonstrations held in Slough passed off without major incident for Thames Valley Police and Slough Borough Council.
‘It is estimated that between 500 to 600 people took part in both demonstrations, one by the English Defence League and a counter demonstration.
‘A number of officers from across Thames Valley Police, Hampshire Constabulary and British Transport Police were visible during the demonstrations as part of a pre-planned comprehensive and proportionate policing operation.
‘A small amount of disorder did break out in the town centre. However officers quickly dealt with the incidents and maintained control of the situation. Four people were arrested for various public order offences.
‘Two officers were injured during the demonstration; one sustained facial injuries and the other an injury to his leg.’
Black-clad Islamic fascists clash with police as they try to oppose the EDL’s march down Slough’s High Street, where bottles and railings were hurled and at least one smoke bomb let off during the fracas.
Superintendent Simon Bowden, local police commander for Slough, said: ‘I am pleased that these demonstrations have passed off without major incident.
‘Disruption was kept to a minimum and we are grateful for the support we received from local communities.
‘There were a handful of arrests made over the course of the day, mainly for public disorder. However, the vast majority of those taking part were well behaved.
‘The demonstrations had understandably caused a great deal of concern amongst some of our communities and I would like to thank them for their tolerance, co-operation and patience.’
Councillor Rob Anderson, leader of Slough Borough Council, said: ‘It was a shame that some elements felt the need to resort to violence but the police dealt with it swiftly and appropriately.
‘Hopefully we can get back to normal in Slough now these groups have left our town.’

Three men have been jailed for a “sickening and mindless” mob attack on a father and his two sons.
Wajid Hussain, 29, already serving a seven-year prison sentence for hitting a man on the head with a hammer, and Zehroon Razaq, 36, of Buxton Street, Dalton Lane,Keighley, were each locked up for two-and-a-half years.
Frantisek Lakatos, 28, of Sunny Mount, Highfield, Keighley, was jailed for 21 months.
A warrant not backed for bail was issued for his brother, Robert Lakatos, who failed to attend yesterday’s sentencing hearing at Bradford CrownCourt.
All the men pleaded guilty at earlier hearings to violent disorder on the afternoon of June 9, 2012.
Hussain, 29, of Colenso Grove, Keighley, will serve his sentence consecutively to the seven years he received in August, 2012, for causing Jerome Banks, 37, grievous bodily harm with intent in a gang attack at a family barbecue in Worth Avenue, Keighley.
Prosecutor Simon Haring said a gang of up to ten men of Asian and East European origin set about brothers Sam and Jake Beveridge in an unprovoked attack in the garden of their home in Woodville Road, Keighley.
When Steven Beveridge arrived home he was punched, kicked and struck with a bat. The violence spilled out into the street and was witnessed by fearful women and children.
Lakatos, who joined in late, delivered “a flying kick” to Steven Beveridge when he was on the ground.
Jake Beveridge’s injuries included a head wound needing five stitches. His brother suffered a cut to his face and their father, who was recovering from a heart attack, was badly bruised.
The family’s three cars suffered criminal damage totalling more than £4,000.

Muslims have vandalized and torched more than 140 Hindu homes
by, Anisur Rehman | Niti Central
Human rights groups and Hindu leaders in Bangladesh on Monday demanded more security for religious minorities amid reports that members of the community were attacked in several parts of the country during elections.
Activists of main Opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its key-ally fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami attacked Hindu households in western Jessore and northwestern Dinajpur, local media reports said.
The Daily Star and several other newspapers said the activists vandalized 130 Hindu houses and torched another 10 in Malopara village as they went to cast votes defying the Opposition call for the boycott.
Police, however, said 70 to 80 men attacked the village but joint forces comprising police and paramilitary Border Guard Bangladesh chased them away.
The activists threatened the Hindus of dire consequence for voting, sparking panic and prompting the Army “striking forces” intervention.
“We were on election duty. In spite of that we rushed here to protect the villagers,” Maj Rahman last night said, adding that a temporary police camp was installed at the area.
“Some 400 Hindus were forced to flee their homes and take refuge on the other side of the local Bhairab river fearing fresh attacks,” Bangladesh Hindu-Bouddho-Cristian Oikya Parishad vice president Kajal Debnath told PTI.
Other reports said Hindus came under attack also at Pornia area in northwestern Dinajpur overnight where the Opposition activists severely assaulted 10 elderly people of the community and vandalised over 10 houses for defying their calls for election boycott.
But Army intervened, forcing the activists to flee.
“We demand intensified protection…we don’t want to be traded off politically or used for anybody’s political purpose,” Debnath told PTI in an apparent reference to a perception that the Hindus were traditionally supporters of Awami League, which pursue a policy of secularism.
He added: “Keep me (Hindus) beyond (political) focus, I don’t want to be a victim.”
According to media reports, only a small number of Hindus cast their votes in north-western Lalmonirhat and southwestern Satkhira either fearing attacks by opposition activists.
They said most of the Hindu villagers were annoyed with the Government for not taking adequate steps for their protection during earlier such attacks in recent months when the Opposition spearheaded anti-Government campaigns.
Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (L), Secretary-General of the OIC Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu (2nd L), Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu (3rd L) and EU High Representative Catherine Ashton (4th L) participate in the OIC conference on “Building on the Consensus” in Istanbul, Turkey, on July 15, 2011. The common thread that binds the entire document together is the OIC’s repeated insistence that the main culprit responsible for “the institutionalization of Islamophobia” in Western countries is freedom of speech.
“The Istanbul Process started with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton…. We need to build on it.” — OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Isanoglu
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, an influential bloc of 57 Muslim countries, has released the latest edition of its annual “Islamophobia” report.
But the primary objective of the OIC—headquartered in Saudi Arabia and funded by dozens of Muslim countries that systematically persecute Christians and Jews—has long been to pressure Western countries into passing laws that would ban “negative stereotyping of Islam.”
In this context, the OIC’s annual Islamophobia report—an integral part of a sustained effort to prove the existence of a “culture of intolerance of Islam and Muslims” in the West—is in essence a lobbying tool to pressure Western governments to outlaw all forms of “Islamophobia,” a nebulous concept invented by the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1990s.
Islamophobia: A Threat to Worldwide Free-Speech
The OIC report comprises five main chapters and several annexes aimed at documenting “incidents of slandering and demeaning Muslims and their sacred symbols including attacks on mosques, verbal abuses and physical attacks against adherents of Islam, mainly due to their cultural traits.”
But the common thread that binds the entire document together is the OIC’s repeated insistence that the main culprit responsible for “the institutionalization of Islamophobia” in Western countries is freedom of speech, which the OIC claims has “contributed enormously to snowball Islamophobia and manipulate the mindset of ordinary Western people to develop a ‘phobia’ of Islam and Muslims.”
According to the OIC, freedom of expression is shielding “the perpetrators of Islamophobia, who seek to propagate irrational fear and intolerance of Islam, [who] have time and again aroused unwarranted tension, suspicion and unrest in societies by slandering the Islamic faith through gross distortions and misrepresentations and by encroaching on and denigrating the religious sentiments of Muslims.”
Chapter 1 of the report deals with “Islamophobia, Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims,” and purports to reveal the “unabated rise of Islamophobia in Western countries, thereby exacerbating tensions at all levels and constituting additional obstacles to the diversity and multicultural fabrics of the societies.”
According to the OIC, freedom of speech is to blame for the “perpetuation of Islamophobia,” which:
“…has become increasingly widespread, which, in turn, has caused an increase in the actual number of hate crimes committed against Muslims. These crimes range from the usual verbal abuse and discrimination, particularly in the fields of education and employment, to other acts of violence and vandalism, including physical assaults, attacks on Islamic centers and the desecration of mosques and cemeteries.”
“In this context, acceptance of various forms of intolerance, including hate speech and the propagation of negative stereotypes against Islam and Muslims in some western countries contribute towards proliferation of intolerant societies. This process is further supported by… the exploitation of freedom of expression and perpetuation of an ideological context advocating an inescapable conflict of civilizations.”
Another factor favoring “the climate of intolerance” is:
“…the negative role played by major media outlets who not only propagate stereotypes and misperceptions about Islam, but also undermine and usually keep shadowed any meaningful instance of individuals or groups speaking out against intolerance, including advocacy of religious hatred and violence. This biased approach of the media has helped drawing an emphatically demonized, sometimes dehumanized, image of Muslims in the minds of a certain class of people which is predisposed to xenophobic feelings due to the increasingly dire economic situation, or the simply to the irrational fear of the other.”
Chapter 2 of the report deals with “Manifestations of Islamophobia in the West.” According to the OIC:
“The number of Islamophobic incidents continues to rise in the US, as a result of anti-Muslim propaganda. It is particularly alarming that anti-Muslim sentiments are taking deeper roots infiltrating further in the educational system. Notable among several other worrying trends/cases are: the initiatives taken by a leading and powerful US legislator [US Representative Peter King] to convene special Congressional Hearings on Radicalization of Islam in the US… In the same vein, the Republican Party in the recent 2013 [sic] US Presidential elections also used the anti-Islam card as a strategy.”
“With regard to Islamophobic trends in Europe, various reports and polls have revealed growing misperception vis-à-vis Islam and Muslims. Among the most common and recurring… are the ideas that Muslims are inclined to violence including revenge and retaliation; that Islam is an inherently expansionist religion, which strives for political influence, and whose followers are obsessed with proselytizing others, and more generally that Islam deprives women of their rights and encourages religious fanaticism and radicalism. According to the same polls, only a minor portion of the public tends to see Islam in a more positive light, as being a religion of peace that preaches love for neighbors, charity, openness and tolerance… Muslims who live in xenophobic environments are more exposed to daily stress and other forms of moral prejudice.”
The OIC concludes that “journalists and media organizations have a responsibility to avoid promoting rhetoric of hate by acting as a platform for its widespread dissemination.”
Chapter 3 of the OIC report highlights “Some Positive Developments” in terms of initiatives and other steps and positions taken to combat Islamophobia, including:
“…the condemnation of anti-Muslim hate speech by various quarters, including non-Muslim religious leaders; the barring from entry of certain Islamophobes to a number of countries where they intended to take part in anti-Muslim rallies or deliver inflammatory lectures; the recognition of Muslim holidays and other strict sanctions taken against acts of manifest religious intolerance. It was noted with satisfaction that a number of international organizations, including UNSECO, the OSCE and the Council of Europe, have recognized the danger posed by Islamophobia and have taken concrete steps to combat it, notably by laying down Guidelines for Educators on Countering Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims.”
Chapter 4 of the report, “OIC Initiatives and Activities to Counter Islamophobia,” focused on the OIC’s ongoing efforts to promote the so-called Istanbul Process, an aggressive effort by Muslim countries to make it an international crime to criticize Islam. The explicit aim of the Istanbul Process is to enshrine in international law a global ban on all critical scrutiny of Islam and Islamic Sharia law.
In recent years, the OIC has been engaged in a determined diplomatic offensive to persuade Western democracies to implement United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) Resolution 16/18, which calls on all countries to combat “intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of… religion and belief.” (Analysis of the OIC’s war on free speech can be found here and here.)
Resolution 16/18, which was adopted at HRC headquarters in Geneva in March 2011 (with the support of the Obama Administration)—together with the OIC-sponsored Resolution 66/167, which was quietly approved by the 193-member UN General Assembly on December 19, 2011—is widely viewed as marking a significant step forward in OIC efforts to advance the international legal concept of defaming Islam.
According to the OIC report:
“In November 2012, a special ministerial barnstorming session was convened on the sidelines of the 39th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, which aimed at devising an OIC Approach for Combating Discrimination and Intolerance against Muslims…The session… called for constituting a panel of eminent persons including renowned legal experts and human rights practitioners to offer its expert view on the issue of religious intolerance and incitement to hatred to the 12th Islamic Summit. The panel, which was held in Istanbul, in January 2013, expressed support for the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) Resolution 16/18, on combating intolerance, discrimination, incitement to violence and violence on the basis of religion or belief.”
“The OIC also hosted the 3rd Meeting of International Experts on the Implementation of UNHRC Resolution 16/18, under the framework of the Istanbul Process… The meeting… attended by delegations from over sixty countries… reaffirmed the international community’s commitment to Resolution 16/18 and the need to focus on its implementation.”
Chapter 5 of the OIC report provides a set of conclusions and recommendations, which call on Western governments, international organizations and non-state actors to:
“Take all necessary measures within their power and legal/jurisdictional systems to ensure a safe environment free from Islamophobic harassment… by strictly enforcing applicable hate crime and discrimination laws;
“Create, whenever necessary, specialized bodies and initiatives in order to combat Islamophobia… based on internationally recognized human rights principles and standards;
“Combat Islamophobic hate crimes, which can be fuelled by Islamophobic hate speech in the media and on the Internet;
“Take all necessary measures to ensure that the media refrains from serving as a platform for the dissemination of hate speech… by associating extremism and terrorism to Islam and Muslims… and presents the true positive nature of Islam.
“Implement provisions of UNHRC Resolution 16/18 through the Istanbul Process mechanism as it offers a positive platform for debate, exchange of best practices and maintaining of a common and unified stance.”
The report states that “the OIC and the Member States should not be complacent in underscoring the fact that our present day world is gradually being driven towards the dangerous precipices of growing intolerance of religious and cultural diversity. This is the clear and present danger that the OIC has been consistent in warning the international community against. The sooner the phenomenon of Islamophobia is addressed, the better it is for ensuring peaceful coexistence of the present as well for the future generations to come.”
The report concludes with the transcript of a speech by OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, in which he thanks American and European political leaders for their help (here and here) in advancing his efforts to restrict free speech in the West.
“The Istanbul Process initiated with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton to build further on the consensus building that went into Resolution 16/18 must be carried forward. While the resolution forms a triumph of multilateralism, Istanbul Process must also be seen as a poster child of OIC-US-EU cooperation… I appreciate that this Process has come to be recognized as the way forward by all stakeholders… We need to build on it,” Ihsanoglu said.

A doctor will go before medical watchdogs today accused of carrying out female genital mutilation on a patient.
Dr Sureshkumar Vallabhdas Pandya, who practises in London, is said to have undertook the procedure, sometimes called female circumcision, which has been outlawed in the UK for the past 28 years.
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is carried out for cultural, religious and social reasons and some traditions believe it will reduce a woman’s libido and discourage sexual activity before marriage.
It is prevalent in some Muslim countries where a high value is placed on a woman’s chastity and modesty.
It has been estimated that more than 20,000 girls under 15 are at risk of FGM in the UK each year, and that 66,000 women in the UK have undergone the procedure. But the true extent is unknown due to the “hidden” nature of the crime.
No one has ever been prosecuted for FGM in the UK.
Dr Pandya, who will go before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service sitting in Manchester later today, is also alleged to have provided inadequate pre and post operative care and his advice to the patient was misleading and dishonest.
It is also alleged that Dr Pandya’s record keeping did not meet the required standards.

Muslims groups around the world are crying Islamophobia and playing the victim card as horrific Islamic-motivated crimes, such as grooming and rape-gangs, rage on with impunity throughout the Western world, especially in Europe. Rape or grooming gangs, which are almost entirely Muslim, are committing a crime that is religiously mandated in Islamic doctrine.
Muslim grooming gangs have been operating unchallenged in Europe for over 20 years, especially in the UK, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, and France. These widespread and highly organized gangs continue to rape and pimp non-Muslim underage schoolgirls who are used as sex slaves and sometimes tortured or killed. Just recently, in mid-2013, British police arrested 45 mostly Muslim men (mainly Pakistani and Bangladeshi) in West Yorkshire belonging to the largest grooming gang uncovered in the UK.
Throughout Europe, gang members are being described as “Asians”, and not Muslim. Governments, police forces, social services, childcare agencies, the mainstream media, and even academics fear being falsely accused by leftists and Muslim groups of Islamophobia or “racism” if they were to publicly identify the gangs as Muslim. In Britain, a detailed and comprehensive report will be issued next year illustrating the failure of the government to stop Muslim grooming gangs.
No country with a Muslim population is immune to grooming gangs. America is on the same path as Europe and trailing not too far behind. In fact, Muslim grooming gangs (mainly Somali) have already found their way to the streets of America. These gangs have been operating for over 10 years in Minnesota, Tennessee, Michigan, and Ohio. The largest grooming case in U.S. history was from Somali immigrant communities in Minneapolis (MN) and Nashville (TN), in which 29 Somali Muslims were indicted in 2010 for kidnapping, raping, and selling underage girls between 2000 and 2010.
Canada and Australia are also seeing their fair share of Muslim grooming gangs. But as with Europe, government agencies assume the politically-correct approach in insisting that Islam has nothing to do with this crime, and the mainstream media fails to report these gang members as being mainly Muslim. In doing so, the rape and exploitation of thousands more vulnerable schoolgirls are being facilitated. Also, many Muslim gang-rapes go unreported because the victims are too scared or embarrassed to report these crimes.
Why is this horrific global crime of child grooming a phenomenon that occurs mainly amongst Muslim immigrants from Islamic countries? As it turns out, this crime is religiously and politically motivated by Islamic doctrine, which calls for the capturing, raping, and prostituting of non-Muslim women and children after battle, as well as keeping or selling them as sex slaves. Mohammed himself was a slave-owner, and had sex slaves whom he captured in battle. He advised his male followers to imitate his example. In Islam, everything that Mohammed did must be emulated, as he is considered to be the exemplary leader, the perfect man.
Is it any wonder why many Muslims see nothing wrong with grooming or possessing sex slaves? Nor do they see anything immoral or illegal in committing other Islamic-motivated crimes, such as honour killing, female genital mutilation, mosque preachings that nourish homegrown terrorists, street prayer that blocks public streets, street killing of non-Muslims, suicide bombing or martyrdom, as well as homophobia and Jew-hatred.
All these acts are religiously mandated in the Koran and other Islamic doctrines that include the most venerated and reliable legal text Reliance of the Traveller. All acts are instances of Islamic or sharia law in action. There is no revulsion, shame, or guilt involved on the part of the perpetrator, because these actions are entirely acceptable and encouraged in Islam. They run contrary to Western culture, and go beyond merely disrupting the society’s public order and public peace that are essential for any civilized nation to survive.
Sharia acts such as grooming are part of a wider strategy to subjugate and destroy western civilization from within, and to establish Islam as the dominant world power. This is referred to as a “civilization-jihadist process” in the Muslim Brotherhood’s 1987 Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America. Subjugation of non-Muslims is what Mohammed intended when he ordered Muslims in Medina not to integrate into society after immigrating to their new place, but to form a separate body, to keep their own laws, and to make the host country comply with them. Immigration, too, is a religious obligation to expand Islam into new territories and establish its supremacy over all other religions through the enforcement of sharia acts on the host society.
Hence, Muslim grooming and other Islamic-motivated acts constitute sedition, treason, or acts of war, as they are carried out with the intention of eventually overthrowing the government and creating a global Islamic caliphate (or unified Islamic nation-state). The preservation of Western countries in which groomers have been made citizens is being threatened by their seditious acts of sharia. The Muslim grooming gangs, along with other perpetrators of sharia acts, need to be identified in the terms that define them — religion.
As the West continues to ignore the fact that most of the groomers are Muslims who view the West as the enemy to be conquered, sharia acts continue to chip away at European values with conviction and impunity. The strategy of undermining the West is operating at full speed in Europe. Americans, also in jeopardy of losing their traditional and cultural values, need only look across the pond to get an idea of what’s to come in their own country. There is a lesson to be learned from Europe: identify the gang-rape assailants in terms of their religion and suppress sharia now, or reap the consequences of sharia being enforced as a way of life, as evidenced in parts of Europe.
